Hello SIV, I'm looking for this OCP option feature but can't found it...
I will be so grateful if you success integrate it...
I spotted that this OCP register is present inside the register list.
Thank you very much for your app! you have at least let me control my HX850i fan!
My story:
The CorsairLink bloatware have work only one time there... (about 6-7 years ago)
Then it's crash on crash about kernelbase.dll and all those shit stuff about NET framework...
So I'm using SIV to handle my supply fan speed from so long time, and it really saved me! but I'm now looking at also handle the OCP.
Recently I retried to repair this CorsairLink shitsoft without success...
More precisely, it seems that the kernelbase.dll errors mean some others dll cant be loaded.
And it's the CorsairLink service that is directly crashing, that then made the main app also crashing.
I inspected the service with Dependency Walker tool and found about ten missing dll like those one "api-ms-win-appmodel-runtime-l1-1-0.dll".
Fighting to manually success installing the KB2999226 on my Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64, and reinstalling all the NET framework (and subversions) from 4.0 to 4.6.2 have give no result...
Then I reinstalled all VC redistributable from 2005 to 2022, and always nothing... APPCRASH KernelBase.dll...
I now fully resign about CorsairLink, it's like a giant bullshit that you have never seen before... humm not sure about that, as the microsoft world have become so junky from the Windows 8 era...
I bought this supply especially for the custom fan speed and the single/multi rails option... my choice will have been much different if I was knowing the level of Corsair at software coding...
And iPOO give the same service crash... Wow an giant 1Gb soft install without a byte that handle correctly his service and dll dependencies...
Damn... Corsair is only good at hardware, absolutely forget them if software interaction is needed! so Corsair, if you read me, employ this SIV true programmer!
I hope SIV developer will save us...
I'm not feeling for an Windows 7 reinstall from scratch, but I will do it if you need this help for comparing what CorsairLink change at those registers.
Anyway THANKS again for your so useful light app!!!
